Why You May “Suck” At Making Money

Why do so many people have such trouble making money and staying ahead of the bills?

Why is money such a touchy subject for people?

Why are people so torn between money and happiness?

If you struggle to pay the bills at the end of each month or you have a credit card debt, if you do not have abundant money to do what you want, when you want then you may just SUCK AT MAKING MONEY!

Watch the video below …

REASON 1 – do you really know how to make money?

Ask yourself these questions:

  • Were you taught about money at school?
  • What courses have you done to teach you about making money
  • How good were your parents & teachers at making money

The TRUTH is that MAKING MONEY IS A SKILL.

FORTUNATELY, like learning golf or tennis, it is a skill that can be learned.

REASON 2 – MRC!!

Through years of coaching business owners, I have realised that most people have a MONEY REJECTION COMPLEX.

People find it hard to receive money, they feel guilty or uncomfortable receiving money and often sabotage opportunities presented to them due to a lack of belief.

Are you giving yourself permission?

Do you think you’re worthy of having it?

Only 2% of business owners make more than 100k per year!

REMEMBER : Money is not evil, we can do more good with money than bad!

REASON 3 – HAPPINESS IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN MONEY

Why can’t you have both?

Why is there a limiting belief that you can’t be wealthy and also happy?

If so many people say they want don’t want to be wealthy, then why do so many people play the lottery (which has the lowest probability possible for making you wealthy!)?

So this is the WHY you suck at making money.

I AM GOING TO SHOW YOU THE HOW in this FREE WEBINAR

REMEMBER: Money is just an idea backed by confidence

It is a skill that MUST be learned

What do you think? I’d love to read your comments below …

    Hi Andrew,

Having spent 15 years in the financial services industry, I can tell you that you need to be educated about money before you get advice.

The issues you raise are vitally important or business owners, particularly in todays complex, high information age.

    Mindset is so important.

    Keep up the great work,

    Hi Andrew,
For me it’s been a classic example of belief in self. With my new niche, I’ve found that I am putting time in to actually have the confidence that I’m talking about something I really know about. In the Alzheimer’s. Coach field, there’s definitely a tendency to price yourself low to fit in a budget rather than truly value your input to what it really is worth.
My input, find your true passion and realize the value you offer to others who don’t have time to be that focused on your speciality as you are. You are saving them time away from their lives and work and realistically, saving them money.
Keep up the great work mate
    Peter G.

This is so true we keep getting told that we should be grateful for what we have and not wish for more. However I am starting to belief that we should be grateful yes for what we have but why can’t we expect or want more? The universe is there to provide for us the abundance but it is our mindset that stops us from getting there and I am trying very hard to change my limiting beliefs of money and myself and the expectations that society and I have on myself. Thanks Andrew what you say really makes sense. Nicole.

Andrew this is very engaging thinking. I am a teacher and have never brought the idea of making money into the classroom beyond math concepts or career planning. And believe me most teachers are rotten at understanding their own financial future with what they have and become complacent that “this is all I will get.” I would like to better understand where we get the complex you speak of, when do you think it becomes evident that we have it and what to do about it.
    Thanks
    Cec

    Andrew,

You’ve identified MRC or simply put, scarcity mentality. It’s the opposite of abundance. The vast majority of people subconsciously believe they are bound to make a set, almost pre-determined amount of money. Thinking, I am worth XYZ and that’s what they receive. They receive exactly what they expect.

Scarcity mentality is everywhere and keeps everyone locked in place.

Very few people are open to abundance!

    Andrew,

My father epitomizes the MRC! My entire life he’s always insisted on giving more than receiving.. Albeit a somewhat successful business owner, 30 years of this flawed mentality has severally costs his bottom line.. A company that should now be worth several million dollars is sadly nowhere close to that.. Even as a young man I could see this mindset was crippling, especially considering his beloved customers were thrilled with his passion for service and product… I vowed not to run my own business the with this same mental affliction, sadly I am my fathers son and I’ve fallen into the same bad habits, even though I know I’m doing it. We truly are programmed in life, breaking these agreements has proven far harder than expected. I’m looking forward to learning some techniques in your upcoming webinar
Thanks Andrew! Keep up the good work!
    Gw

    Hi Andrew,

    Great topic.

I see it all the time. I charge higher than others in my field, but my clients always comment that the job is done quickly and correctly the first time. They have confidence in what they have been provided with. They are paying for the 20+ years of knowledge and experience that I have locked in my head. The proof now is in the Lawyers using me for expert opinion.

People need to understand that money does not buy happiness, but what it does buy is OPTIONS. The more excess money you have the more OPTIONS you are presented with.

Real living is made up of the “optional extras” that we experience on this journey.

Hope you all have a great day!

I really believe that this a a great topic. I think that this inner conflict is what hold a lot of people back from making money. I tried to attend the seminar but I think I had the time off because you are in aedt and I am CST but I will keep watching. This is very interesting.

I know right? People think making money is evil yet they go to work everyday and complain they don’t have enough.

  23. Julie Di Gregorio September 22, 2013at1:40 pm

I was taught by my father that making more money equals stress or so he said .
His boss was continually stressed so he decided that was not for him .
I know old school thinking ……

  24. Julie Di Gregorio September 22, 2013at1:43 pm

So I had to learn to give myself permission to be always abundant on every level.
I am still dealing with these past negative conditioning

  25. L Mitchell February 16, 2014at11:11 am

AMAZING INFORMATION, I,VE DONE THIS MONEY REJECTION COMPLEX MYSELF IN THE
    PAST.
